Blown away by this interview, especially the parallels between my journey and Mr. Phelps'. Obviously they're not identical, but the similarities are a bit eerie and his insight has actually given me a lot to think about.

ReplyDeleteI was surprised by Nate's comments about WBC's inherent racism. I thought Fred Phelps originally made his name as an anti-racist civil rights lawyer in the 60s. Great to hear from Nate, though; fascinating story he has to tell.
